EAC's mission is to help older people reach informed decisions about meeting their housing and care needs.

This had led us to do 3 main things:

• Compile detailed information about later life housing and care options available to older people;
• Share this information widely, in print and through our website;
• Provide an advice service to help individuals make use of our information to reach their own decisions on how best to meet their later life needs and aspirations.

Our values define the way we work. We are:

Independent and impartial: Whilst we look for financial support for our work from a range of organisations, including housing and service providers, we do not allow this to influence the information, guidance and advice we offer to our website users and Advice Line clients;

A team player: We see ourselves as part of a network of national and local information and advice services to older people, and try to integrate our specialisms into this wider picture.
